The descent into Erwin, TN was quite sobering in regards to the damage done by Hurricane Helene, as well as the work done since. So so so many downed trees for miles and miles through the mountains, and yet the path (so far) has been cut completely clear for hikers. The bridge right here, where…

   AT NOBO mile 344. Spring has begun to take form. The mornings aren’t so cruelly cold to the hands. Friends I’ve met along the way are coming back into the flow of each other’s hikes. It’s been a fascinating Lenten journey this year. #at2025 #supportlivingartists
